Floor Verbeek
Communications Coordinator (Monrovia, Liberia)

Floor holds a Masters degree in Translation, which she tries to put to use in her job as a Communications Coordinator with BRAC in Liberia (and occasionally, but not frequently enough to her taste, in Sierra Leone). Employing more than 100,000 people, BRAC is the largest NGO in the world and originates from Bangladesh, which makes working for them in Africa an interesting multicultural experience. Floor permanently moved to the dark continent as a volunteer in 2006 and has worked in Tanzania, Uganda, Liberia and Sierra Leone for several non-governmental organizations since then.
