Today TH!NK ABOUT IT announces the TH!NK2 bloggers who will be given immediate spots in TH!NK3: Developing World.
TH!NK3 focuses on the Millennium Development Goals in the lead up to the UN's high-level plenary meeting in September 2010. Bloggers will cover the biggest issues in sustainable development: housing, food, water, disease, tourism, business, gender equality and more.
This is the biggest TH!NK ABOUT IT to date - with some 100 bloggers coming together in Brussels to launch the 5 month competition on March 22, 2010.
The prizes for TH!NK3 are also considerably different than in the last two rounds....
The top bloggers in the competition will participate in reporting expeditions to Asia, Africa and New York City, where they will be given the opportunity to report about development issues from on the ground! Details about the travel opportunities will be released soon.
Of these, at least 10 will be former TH!NKers, including:
- Lara Smallman
- Benno Hansen
- Daniel Nylin Nilsson
- Anindita Nayak
- Aija Vanaga
- Radovana Jagrikova
- Abhishek Nayak
- Muusa Kostilainen
- Jodi Bush
- Hemant Anant Jain
Congrats to the top 10! Your fantastic work in the competition's extension from 15 December to 15 February has granted you an automatic spot in TH!NK3: Developing World.
If you weren't selected in this list but still want to be a part of TH!NK3, go to development.thinkaboutit.eu and register for the competition. Though we cannot guarantee you a spot, you still have a chance to be selected.
Know anyone who you think would be interested in TH!NK3? Spread the word!
We're still accepting applicants - For EU applicants until 28 February and for Non-EU until 19 Februrary
Hope to see you in Brussels!
