It’s winning season on TH!NK3 this week!
It’s the EJC's absolute pleasure to announce the winners of the Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Reporting Trip as well as the CL!CK winners.

The primary cause for celebration on the TH!NK3 Platform is the announcement of a select group of 9 individuals who have been chosen to travel to Kuala, Lumpur Malaysia on a 7 day reporting trip.
The TH!NKers will participate in a conference on the transformation of journalism and development reporting practices and they will travel the area to experience what development reporters do every day. These winners have been selected because of their overwhelming contribution to the project and for the quality of their work. The winners are:
- Tiziana Cauli
- Kevin Rennie
- Lara Smallman
- Ian Sullivan
- Clare Herbert
- Giedre Steikunaite
- Maria Keucken
- Robert Stefanicki
- Iris Gonzales
These bloggers, and their work over the last 3 months of the competition has resulted in an unbelievable assortment of thought provoking posts on this platform. I highly encourage everyone here to check out what these TH!NKers have contributed.
This group is an eclectic one - hailing from all over the world, they are a combination of journalists, students, media junkies and activists - just the kind of diverse people that TH!NK ABOUT IT is proud to have on board. We all congratulate you on your fantastic success!
The work of the TH!NK platform is not over, however. And with two more trips yet to be announced (a trip to Africa as well as the grand prize to NYC) there's lots more to come on TH!NK3!
Now, for the second part of this winning-season annoucement....
Nearly two months ago, the European Journalism Centre launched CL!CK – an international photography competition about the changing world. We opened the competition to citizens from all over the world and asked for pictures that depicted social, economic or climactic change in local communities.
We were astounded with the response.
More than 17,000 people voted on the over 700 entries we received. Sifting through the images to find the winning photos wasn’t easy, but it was a true pleasure.
Without further ado, here are the winners of CL!CK........
Congratulations to Lorena Flores Agüero!
Your photo titled “El Perú Avanza” was selected as the overall best photograph (see below).

“Pinta encontrada en Ayacucho, en la plazoleta “Ima Sumaq”. Al costado una mujer pidiendo limosna. La foto pretende demostrar la ironía del mensaje y la situación en que se encuentra el Perú en cuanto a la educación de su gente y la pobreza del país.”
