A Girl Story

Published 30th July 2010 - 7 comments - 2089 views -

In this world we must find new ways to influence people to give something to charity or contribute money to support a project. Because people constantly alludes to the volunteers who collect money. After that you feel uncomfortable. But advertising agency Strawberryfrog from New York come with new idea - donation-based film series - A Girl Story.

A Girl Story is a unique donation-based film that brings to life the experience of many underprivileged girls in India. This particular story is told through the eyes of Tarla, a young girl who simply wants to go to school and receive an education. Our project's goals are to raise awareness about the challenges that girls like Tarla face, and to drive donations for the nonprofit group Project Nanhi Kali.

"Girl Story" follows the path of a fictional character named Tarla, who is based on a composite of real-life girls that Nanhi Kali has helped in the past. Tarla wants to go to school to better her life. Within A Girl Story, Tarla faces many obstacles along her path toward an education: disapproving parents, social dogma, gender bias, and financial hardships to name a few. Only your donations can help her overcome them. This is a brilliant idea! I like it and I supported this project, because it bring something to my heart. Real story. I see girl from India. Not people on the street which collecting money and I don't know for what.
