For many years, AIDS and HIV have been something Europeans do not feel too affected by as many of the stories of an "AIDS epidemic" come from Africa. According to UNICEF, this is turning around. "HIV is spreading faster in Eastern Europe and Central Asia than anywhere else in the world, and adolescents and young people account for a large percentage of new infections in the region. In Europe, Ukraine is the country worst affected by the virus. An estimated 440,000 people aged 15 to 49 are living with HIV and AIDS" in Ukraine.

Were you aware that the vast majority of Poles contracted HIV/AIDS in tattoo and beauty saloons and dentists?
I didn’t know that…
Sorry for a link in Polish - couldn’t find a viable resource in English. It says here over 75% of Poles have contracted HIV/AIDS in the situations mentioned by myself above:

The UK has a similar problem with tattoo parlors - or at least the National Health Services (NHS) in the UK considered tattoo parlors to be potential causes for Hep C.
