Toyota Sweden just kicked off with a campaign called 'A GLASS OF WATER' on lowering the fuel consumption all over the world.
The company argues that by putting a glass of water on your dashboard and driving in a way that will not allow the water to spill will lower your fuel consumption by 10%. They advise that the owners of iPhone download an app with a virtual glass of water whereas others can simply imagine a glass of water on their dashboard while driving.
A BTL campaign or a genuine care?
Does the end justify the means?
Are you keen to try it out?
Thanks for your comments!

Helena, does it have anything in common with speed? or with changing speed rapidly… because I think it’s dangerous not only for environment but for animals and human beings who are the victim of high speed on the road.
Oh, definitely, Iwona, that’s for sure a very good use of the glass of water
btw, do you imagine driving with one?
can they also imagine the huge tailbacks with everyone driving like senior citizens. Speed does not necessarily go hand in hand with bad fuel consumption as long you drive correctly. http://www.autovip.co.uk
