Reducing extreme poverty around the world, giving information and promoting human rights is important. I think Dalai Lama was right when he said: "Today, more than ever before, life must be characterized by a sense of Universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life." I'm a thinker, yes, but also it's important to feel. Why in the earth do you always ask, "what do you think", instead of "how do you feel about it"? I also would like to live my life the way Bahá'u'lláh encouraged us to do "Let your vision be world-embracing, rather than confined to your own self."

Are there polarbears in Finland?

Published 08th September 2010 - 6 comments - 2190 views -

"Everybody knows there actually are polar bears in Finland. In every petition or interview about Finland they ask what people know about Finland, and the most common answer is "Polar Bears.". It has to be true since the human race is immune to lies. Polar Bears are spotted walking on the streets everyday, except the 33th of February when they celebrate the end of the summer. They are used to Finns and are very social and polite. Recent law changes have given the polar bears rights to drive cars and motorcycles on open roads. The 34th of May, at Radalle.com, an infamous racing event in turku, Finland, polar bears were seen drifting and showing off their tuned up race cars, as well their super models. After the races they had half-naked female polar bears dancing on stage, washing cars in furtight bikinis and singing karaoke." This extract was from http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Polar_bear

Believe it if you want wink

Anyway, for the moment we do have the United Bears! And they are much more interesting ones!

The United Buddy Bears are visiting Helsinki in Finland with their 20th exhibition from 1 September to 26 October 2010. The exhibition has been all over the world on 5 continents. Helsinki is the 20th place where bears stand side by side.

During the weeks of the exhibition, a new United Buddy Bear will be created on behalf of Finland.

The original idea of a series of painted bears is by Eva and Klaus Herlitz who wanted to bring a message of peace, international understanding and tolerance among the nations, cultures and religions of this world.

By photographing the bears it is possible to win a flight for two from Helsinki to the German capital with the most original photo of the exhibition on Senaatintori.

    Muusa,

Why don’t you put an image in the carousel (that box with the changing images)? You might not know how to do it?
When you upload your post, right at the bottom left there is a small browser that lets you upload an image that appears in the carousel. Good luck!
