Reducing extreme poverty around the world, giving information and promoting human rights is important. I think Dalai Lama was right when he said: "Today, more than ever before, life must be characterized by a sense of Universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life." I'm a thinker, yes, but also it's important to feel. Why in the earth do you always ask, "what do you think", instead of "how do you feel about it"? I also would like to live my life the way Bahá'u'lláh encouraged us to do "Let your vision be world-embracing, rather than confined to your own self."

Did you wash your hands already?

Would you like to help World Vision Finland and Save Children Finland to remind our country to keep what has been promised? One of the Millennium Development Goals is Child Health. The goal is to reduce death of children under 5-years old. The exact goal would mean that in 5 years we manage to half the number from 8 millions to 4 millions. Without working very hard this will not be possible.

Most of the death are caused by diseases. In Finland we have clean water, and we can wash our hands that helps us to stay healthy.

Just this one time, think if you could not wash your hands like so many children in the world.

Are you going to wash your hands or sign the petition?

If you want to contribute, please sign the petition that will be handed out to our president Tarja Halonen on Friday 10.9.2010.
