I was recently invited to this amazing initiative supprted by Bertelsmann Stiftung and would love to share it with you now, as it is still in beta phase and just starts to kick off properly.
"Our new internet-platform futurechallenges.org (launch beta; April 2010, 1.0 in summer 2010) aims to spread knowledge on global change and make it accessible for everybody. futurechallenges.org wants to foster the dialogue between experts and non-experts. Our aim is to empower people and institutions to discuss future challenges. For the very first time in the history of mankind we truly have the chance to understand our future as a common global one and to shape it by using the power of networks and the wide range of online collaboration tools."
If you navigate over to the site you will realize that it combines interdisciplinary approach to issues related exactly to what we talk about in here, on TH!NK3, like governance, migration, climate change, globalization and more.
Because I am rather new to the project, I have asked my editor, Alexey Sidorenko, to tell us few words about it:
I hope you will like it!

very interesting idea. I look forward to learning more.
