New post about old feeling.

I remember when I was motivated to blog and feel the change. It was when I was participating in Think about it 2 - Climate change. We were looking towards, fighting about something we could feel.

I am not sure that we could change something, but we were able to change how we look to issues, to empathise with issue. We were able to turn our water tabs of when we brush our teeth and make this a habit and feel that we have made a step forward to be more sustainable.

Now I am reading posts, trying to contribute, but I can't find that feeling of change. Mainly we post sad stories of unhappy or unlucky people. We talk about policy of countries politics and economics.

And then we read that outdated supermarket food is on the street while somewhere people die from hunger.

I can't figure out what is our input.. Is it just a black letter on white background..?

And these would be questions I would like to ask people who work with development..

The strong need for doing something for a change I saw this year on the One World Festival in Czech Republic - it’s a big human rights and also development film festival. After the films - people were asking what can we do? Last year, it wasn’t so strong. And it seems that there is no leader who would tell ask what we can do. It’s not Bono or Madonna, it’s not Kofi Annan or Ban Ki Mun… However in the end in development all goes back to Climate Change… poverty is now so much connected to it. so maybe we should still keep remaining about small think we can start at home.

I perfectly understand the feeling… at the beginning I also was very motivated…
However, I think that what we write is mportant because we can share good examples, best practices, and thanks also to sad stories, we can start to think about it! so that’s why I keep reading posts. smile
