The Europeans rights for people with money – not for Gypsies
In an interview with Corriere della Sera published Saturday, Italy's interior minister Roberto Maroni said he would like to be able to expel all EU citizens who do not meet minimum requirements such as income and housing. He noted many Roma are actually EU citizens who do not meet these requirements.
This is the crisis for European fundamental right – free of movement. Is this right only for people with money and the ordinary standard of European life? New member state have been criticised for the life situation of their Roma people. It is true that they should be. However, the older members of EU have not offer any help or solution for them. The actions of Paris government cannot find the solution.
