'How much time does IT take you?' is a viral video created by Polish celebrities to encourage people to cast their vote in recent presidential elections.
The video below features actors and other celebrities responding to this question, which carries an obvious double meeting, and ending with Zbigniew Zamachowski's point made on the fact that going to elections really takes only a moment.
The initiative was present on Twitter, its Polish mirror engine Blip.pl, as well as on Facebook.
The video has now approx.100,000 views.
I personally like the idea and I would like to see more examples of creative usage of video, as well as its positioning on-line to engage the public in governance. Do you think actions like this one work?

I think they do work, at least until some point, when people might follow what their beloved celebrities do or say!
Valid point, gracias;)
Indeed… for instance, I think that these kind of instruments was used for the Obama campaign, with a good result
Wow. I liked it very much. A great campaign…
Mind you, here in Brazil it does not work anymore. Media explored so much famous people that they ended up losing credibility.
I forgot one thing: I hope for it not to happen in Poland.
‘How much time does IT take you?’
Cool name. Can TO mean IT in Polish?
I think video is probalby the best way to communicate with the part of the public which is not so exited about the internet, and rarely visit blogs.
